Privacy Policy

Faler Law Group (“we,” “us,” or “the Firm”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through falerlawgroup.com (the “Site”), how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.

Information We Collect

Information you give us. When you fill out our case review form, call us, email us, or otherwise contact us, we may collect:

  • Your name, email address and phone number
  • Your preferred language
  • Information about your vehicle, such as its year, make, model and where you bought or registered it
  • A description of your situation, including problems with the vehicle, repair history and your dealings with the dealer or manufacturer
  • Whether you agreed to receive calls, texts and emails from us

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our Site and hosting provider automatically record certain technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you view, the page you came from, and the date and time of your visit. Our form also records the page you submitted it from.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Review your inquiry and evaluate whether we may be able to help you
  • Contact you about your inquiry or case by phone, text message or email
  • Provide legal services if you become a client
  • Operate, secure and improve the Site, and understand how visitors use it
  • Comply with our legal and professional obligations

Contacting Us Does Not Create an Attorney-Client Relationship

Submitting a form, sending an email, calling or texting us does not create an attorney-client relationship. An attorney-client relationship is formed only when the Firm agrees in writing to represent you. Please don’t send confidential or time-sensitive information until we have confirmed that we represent you.

How We Share Your Information

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share it only as follows:

  • Within the Firm: with our attorneys and staff who need it to review your inquiry or work on your case.
  • Service providers: with companies that help us run the Firm and the Site, such as website hosting, email, phone and text messaging, and case management providers. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
  • Your case: if you become a client, as needed to pursue your matter, for example with co-counsel, experts, courts, or the opposing manufacturer or dealer, and only as part of representing you.
  • Legal requirements: when required by law, court order or professional rules, or to protect the rights and safety of the Firm or others.

Text Messages (SMS)

If you check the consent box on our form, you agree to receive calls, text messages and emails from Faler Law Group about your inquiry or case, including messages sent by automated means. Consent is not a condition of service.

  • Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
  • Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving text messages. Reply HELP for help, or call us.
  • No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

Cookies are small files stored on your device. Our Site may use cookies to keep it working properly, remember your preferences and understand how visitors use it. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the Site may not work as intended.

Analytics and Advertising

We may use third-party tools such as Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Site, and Google Ads to show our ads, including on other websites to people who have visited our Site before (remarketing). These providers may use cookies to collect information about your visits, such as pages viewed and actions taken. This information does not include your form answers.

You can adjust how Google uses ad personalization at adssettings.google.com, and opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Do Not Track

Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” signal. Because there is no common standard for how websites should respond to these signals, our Site does not currently respond to them. Third-party tools on the Site may collect information about your activity over time and across websites as described above.

How We Protect Your Information

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections to the Site. No method of sending or storing information online is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.

How Long We Keep Information

We keep information as long as needed to respond to your inquiry, represent you if you become a client, and meet our legal, professional and record-keeping obligations. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or keep it in a form that no longer identifies you.

Your Choices and California Privacy Rights

  • Review or correct your information: contact us to ask what personal information we have about you, or to correct it.
  • Deletion: you can ask us to delete your information. We’ll honor the request unless we’re required or permitted by law or professional rules to keep it.
  • Stop communications: reply STOP to any text, follow the unsubscribe instructions in any marketing email, or tell us you no longer want to be contacted.
  • Disclosures for direct marketing: we do not share personal information with third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.

Children’s Privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Links to Other Websites

The Site may link to websites we don’t control. We aren’t responsible for their privacy practices, so please review their policies.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll post the new version on this page and change the “Last updated” date above.
